Enrique Castro Born in Bogota, Colombia back in 1951. Came to Canada in 1974. I have participated through the years at poetry festivals of Toronto, particularly the ones with a social content: Sunday Poetry, IFPOR,Festival Internacional de Resistencia, Poetas por la Paz, I also participated at the Festival de la Palabra y la Imagen, as a writer, as well as an actor with live theatre :Double Double Teatro, under the direction of Oscar Ortiz. I still write and participate in Theatre with Vortex Cultural Living Theatre and continue writing poetry and theatre plays.
