We restored the coach house keeping the inside original, but [with planning permission] could be made into more accommodation especially if someone wanted to have an annex or do holiday lets.”

There are two vehicular entrances into Battleford Hall, with the main, formal one that leads up the sweeping gravel drive to the front, from Ben’s Gate Road, and a second from Church End that takes you to the coach house and garaging at the back where an extensive, gravelled parking area is in front of the coach house. Nearby Holbeach has an Ofsted rated Good secondary, Holbeach Academy, whilst Spalding about a 20 minute drive eastwards has excellent grammar schools: the High (for girls) rated Outstanding and the Grammar (for boys) rated Good.
