Lancaster as “among the US cities that form the green shoots of the future of America.” I agree! I’ve loved this City for six decades. As a child, I had a great education in public schools (Go Tornadoes!) and endlessly walked the Wards and neighborhoods visiting friends. Lancaster was a beautiful tapestry of culture and diversity even a generation ago. Today, still rich in history, architecture, education, religion and the arts, Lancaster is a place where guests are common and a hug more familiar than a shrug.

My wife and best friend Justina
My father’s family arrived here in 1869. My great-great grandfather built what is now the Cork Factory Hotel; my great-grandfather was a founder of Armstrong; my grandfather and dad worked in the family business and served on the vestry of St. James Episcopal. Mom served two terms as President of the Junior League before starting her own business. Our family history is interwoven with this community. The unlimited talent and energy of its people assisted in helping me grow a small family business (Dodge Cork) into an industry leading, globally recognized corporation. Saving a community icon motivated my partner and me to rescue Ranck Plumbing from bankruptcy in 2018. And in 2019, our potential for the future inspired me to help form Commonwealth Equity, a fund focused on fostering a circular economy and carbon neutrality while benefiting all stakeholders. No matter where I travel in the world, I’m very proud to call Lancaster my home. ADDRESS, L ANCASTER
