FIESTA BOWL ESPORTS SHOWDOWN
The Fiesta Bowl took the competition into the esports tournament scene with the inaugural Fiesta Bowl Esports Showdown in the Spring of 2021. The virtual competition included two tournaments for Arizona residents and students to compete in for free. Awards included thousands of dollars in scholarships and prizes, along with exclusive PlayStation Fiesta Bowl experiences.

Arizona high school students competed in Rocket League for scholarships and prizes. Jman and Veil from Brophy College Prep were crowned champions and each took home scholarships. In the Call of Duty: Warzone division, Arizona residents 18 years and older faced off in teams of two. Thick and IPayMyTaxes came out on top in this bracket-style tournament and earned cash prizes and an exclusive PlayStation Fiesta Bowl game experience.
