Commenting The most obvious way to connect with a blogger is to comment on their blog. And by a comment, I do not mean that you have to share a link to your blog or tell them to come read your blog. I mean that you must read their posts and leave genuine comments on them. You can start a discussion by posting a question or by sharing your own views on the topic. This will encourage the other blogger to reach out and talk to you. He will know that you’re interested in his work and this will initiate the bonding between you two. And it’s not only about the two of you too. Giving your opinion and adding a point or post that covers something that the author didn’t include in his posts, increases your value in front of his viewers.

How to Generate Comments to Increase tra

c

Reach out directly to bloggers Every blogger has a section where they tell you how you can reach them. Use the email or contact us page to directly interact with the blogger. Tell them about what you feel about their blog and also invite them to take a look at your blog. Once you get a conversation going, you can hope to create a lasting bond with each other. Fellow bloggers would really appreciate such a move and my personal experience says that this works most of the times.

Interact via Social Media Social media interaction is another channel where you can create a network. People share their content using Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter to name a few.

You can follow them, comment on their posts, like their posts and share them. You can send them a direct message there too in order to initiate a conversation. The steps remain somewhat similar to what I said above but the channel of communication has changed to social media. Fellow bloggers who are trying to make it big like you will appreciate you reaching out to them and will mostly connect back with you.

Communities There are communities for everything. Be it LinkedIn, Facebook or Google+, there are groups and pages dedicated to bloggers and even various niches of bloggers. You can exploit these groups to seek people who share the same interest as you. Once you nd them, you can connect with them and create a network. Also, these communities are good for encouraging readership, you can share your content and the people will actively check it out and even provide you with feedback. So, make the most of the communities in order to make sure that you can create a better network for yourself.

Concluding Remarks Even though networking does not seem tough, nding good people who are mutually bene cial is not as easy as you might think. There are people who may not respond or who may not be as helpful. However, this must not stop you from venturing into networking as most of the blogger and content marketers know that networking is pivotal for their growth. So, start networking with people to make some meaningful professional relations and even friendships as you proceed with the journey.
