HOME DELIVERY PROGRAM

Can’t make it into the Library?

We’ll bring the Library to you!

Residents of Farmville and Fountain are eligible for our home delivery service. This service is great for patrons who are permanently or temporarily homebound, but would still like Library materials.

Typically, deliveries are made once a month. Patrons can borrow regular or large print fiction and nonfiction books, DVDs, and audiobooks on CD. The number of materials received is entirely up to the patron. A delivery date and time will be arranged with Emma in advance during Library hours (9am-6pm, Monday-Friday). If you don’t have a library card, we can create one for you over the phone.

Interested in taking advantage of this program? Email Emma Repp at erepp@farmvillenc.gov or call 252-753-3355.

This program covers these aspects of healthy living:

Getting quality sleep

Taking care of your mental health

Eating healthy

Staying Connected

Being smoke-free

Getting moving

Challenging yourself

We’ll share stories and offer tips on how to make small changes in each of these areas to build healthier habits. This program is for individuals of any age who are looking for information on ways to live well.

“The story of young, sensitive, and idealistic Francie Nolan and her bittersweet formative years in the slums of Williamsburg has enchanted and inspired millions of readers for more than sixty years. By turns overwhelming, sublime, heartbreaking, and uplifting, the daily experiences of the unforgettable Nolans are raw with honesty and tenderly threaded with family connectedness -- in a work of literary art that brilliantly captures a unique time and place as well as incredibly rich moments of universal experience.”--Goodreads
