Nothing says adventure like a passport! Pick up an Adult Summer Reading Challenge Passport at the second floor circulation desk to get your summer reading adventure started. This year’s challenge runs June 1 - August 17.
We have two sets of drawings this year:
#1: For every book you read (including e-books and audiobooks!), you can put a ticket into one of four gift card drawings for local Farmville businesses. The more books you read, the higher your chances of winning a prize!
#2: Feeling extra adventurous? We are giving away a gift card to River Vibes! To enter this drawing, you must complete specific challenges listed in the Summer Reading Passport. Examples include: visiting our StoryWalk, reading a book set in North Carolina, and reading a biography. You will receive one drawing ticket for every challenge completed.
Drawing #1: $25 gift cards
Drawing #2: $25 gift card to River Vibes
River Vibes is located in Washington, NC. They rent bicycles, kayaks, and paddle boards. They also have a smoothie and juice bar! River Vibes is the perfect place to kickstart your East North Carolina adventure.
