Management Accelerator Programme If you are an existing manager or have been considering transitioning into a management role but wondering how you could gain the knowledge and experience to take the next step, this is the opportunity for you. This new programme is unlike anything the College has delivered before. The 18 month programme will focus on increasing your self-awareness, enhancing your people skills to manage a high performing team and equipping you with the tools and confidence to operationally run a successful department. The programme has been designed to make the very most of your time and can run alongside your role within the College.

2 / BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR (LEVEL 3) STANDARD

The programme will be a mix of blended learning, with learners completing a personality profile to start their journey of self-awareness, attending “in person” sessions, online training, selfguided learning, coaching and mentoring groups and undertaking management projects to immerse themselves in active changes to their current or future management practices.

Once you’re enrolled, all sessions are mandatory. You will be able to access course information, resources and your Teams network in the Management Accelerator Hub.

How do I apply? If you are an aspiring manager, please email an expression of interest letter outlining why you would like to be considered for the programme. Please note, there are limited spaces on the programme so we advise you speak with your manager if you are interested in enrolling so they can help support your application. All applications should be sent to peopleandculture@fareham.ac.uk by Friday, 21st October 2022. All existing managers will automatically be enrolled.

When will I be notified if I am successfully enrolled on the course? Your application will be reviewed by an independent panel and you will find out if you have been successfully enrolled on the course by Monday, 31st October 2022.
