House of Global Curiosities
Be immersed in a multisensory and multistory journey of discovery weaving together of-the-moment designers and must-see art installations thanks to Faena Bazaar’s new collaboration with Curio, launching during Miami Art Week.
Curated by fashion veterans Jeff Lacosta and Danielle Licata, shop Curio’s new next-level activation of the Faena Bazaar, which promises to elevate the Miami Beach scene with a mix of coveted fashion and dynamic experiences for local clientele and global nomads alike. In keeping with Faena Bazaar’s tradition of unconventional retail as a lived experience, Curio will layer the building’s four stories with highly interactive rotating
events like guest celebrity hairdressers, rising designers from all over the world, and public art installations, including an incredible Miami Art Week preview of 12 digitally-enabled works by renowned artist David LaChapelle. “Faena has an identifiable soul and vibe,” says Licata. “We offer opulent luxury with an approachable sensibility and there is no better property to partner with to create something artistic, tasteful and innovative.” Guests can shop the
much-anticipated Serena Williams pop up, whose collection is a personal effort to empower women in pieces that make them feel confident. Other coveted items include a sequined pajama by In the Mood for Love; a sleek bodycon dress in ingenuous gingham by Silvia Tcherassi; and a blazer/ pant combo in eye-popping pink from Rosetta Getty. Need a new haute ensemble from acclaimed designers like Alessandra Rich and Martin Margiela for
your next Art Basel afterparty? Rent a dress from Armarium, the digital shopping platform popping up in the Bazaar during the fair.
