Coronato dall’alloro del successo d’oltreoceano, Salvatore Ferragamo scelse Firenze al suo rientro in Italia, una città a lui ignota ma che lo affascinava per arte e bellezza. Fu probabilmente il crollo economico del ’29 l’opportunità che gli permise di identificare la sede aziendale con nuovi occhi: un ambiente unico, non solo per ospitare la clientela, la cui immagine si sposasse con la qualità impeccabile di un prodotto artigianale.

Having found success in the US, Salvatore Ferragamo made Florence his city of choice upon his return to Italy. He had never been to the city, but its art and beauty fascinated him. The economic collapse of 1929 was probably the opportunity that enabled him to identify what he needed from his offices: a unique space, not only for welcoming guests, but whose image would perfectly marry with the outstanding quality of his artisan products.
