Poland-2012: finishing stretch
A year before EURO Championship 78% of all key Polish infrastructure projects for 2012 are at the final stage or already complete. Polish EURO officials emphasize that effective implementation of transport systems, security and healthcare at completed objects will be a priority for the year remaining before the Tournament. 172 institutions are engaged in preparation for EUROÂ 2012 in Poland. The result of their work is that preparations of three quarters of major stadiums, airports, railway stations, railways and highways have been accomplished in good time. Moreover, the scale and number of completed infrastructure projects in Poland are the largest since 1989. 46
