Science-led seaweed solutions
Founded in Ireland by Dr Helena McMahon, Seabody has carved a unique place in the spa market with its scientific approach to next-generation marine-based skincare.
McMahon, a cellular biochemist who grew up on Ireland’s Atlantic coast, brings over 20 years of experience in biotechnology, cellular therapeutics and bioactive natural ingredients to the concept. Sustainability and natural product innovation inform the brand’s skincare and supplement ranges.
“The light-bulb moment was realising that the human body responds to natural molecules at the cellular level,” explains McMahon. “And there was the potential to use these natural molecules and ingredients in scientifically validated, high-efficacy daily-use skincare and supplements.”

Immersive rituals
Seabody’s spa experiences integrate its bioactive products with touch therapy, breathwork, movement and functional fragrance to optimise cellular health and whole-body rejuvenation.
A series of new wellness rituals has been based on six pillars, including Regenerative Skincare, which harnesses marine bioactives to restore and hydrate the skin, and Functional Nutrition whereby marine supplements deliver high doses of phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals.
Holistic Therapies combines sensorial treatments with movement, heat and cold therapy, while Mindfulness and Emotional Wellness introduces breathwork to guide guests to a deep connection with the present.
Movement and Recovery brings bioactive-infused and touch-led therapies designed to enhance muscle recovery, metabolic health and resilience, while Deep Relaxation and Sleep protocols help regulate the nervous system and circadian rhythm to encourage regenerative sleep.
Purpose-driven rituals
Launching in September 2025, the three new purpose-driven experiences are based around the concepts of Movement, New Beginnings and Drift and Dream. Seabody Movement Massage combines fascia release, assisted stretching and bodywork. New Beginnings is a nurturing pre and post natal ritual with soothing touch and lymphatic massage. The Drift & Dream Ritual promotes calm through slow, intentional massage, warm seaweed poultices and oceanic sound therapy.
Supporting spas
