CAMPING One of the finest ways to appreciate the natural beauty of Idaho is next to the crackling sound of a campfire. Yes, that’s right, camping. There is just something different about camping in Idaho. Perhaps it’s the lack of crowds, the lack of competition for the best spots, or the fact that so much of the state remains wild and seemingly natural. Whatever it is about Idaho, you’ll discover hundreds of campsites near managed facilities, a near infinite number of choices for those of us willing to camp away from facilities, and yes, there are also a number of places for RVs and Cabin rentals. Our favorite family camping destinations are outside of McCall and Stanley.
FISHING People in the Treasure Valley love their fishing! You’ll find stocked fishing ponds within city limits and with the Boise river nearby you have few excuses for not getting your hook wet. If you’re looking to get away from the sounds of the city you won’t have to travel far to find yourself in one of several nearby lakes or more remote rivers.
