Travel about a half-hour outside the Boise metro area and it’s easy to get purposefully lost. The Hemingway Butte OHV area (pictured), along with the nearby Fossil Creek and Rabbit Creek OHV trailheads puts hundreds of miles of dirt roads, moderate and difficult trails in your path. The area is managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) allowing you to enjoy the area without much restriction beyond simple courtesy and common respect for the land – for example, stay on designated trails and pack out your trash!
