Exploring Emmett

LIVING IN EMMETT Just over the foothills north of the Treasure Valley lies beautiful Emmett, Idaho. At the base of Squaw Butte with the Payette River flowing through it, Emmett has abundant recreational opportunities year-round and yet is a throwback to simpler times. It is an unabashedly small town with everything you need tucked within the valley. There are good restaurants, a great hospital, good schools and most of all, friendly people. Living in Emmett allows your children the freedom of walking and biking to schools and parks. It is a safe and ideal place for raising kids. It’s a community that unites, helping neighbors by coming together, and building each other up, from businesses to people. It’s a small town of almost 7,000 that feels

isolated being tucked away in its own valley yet is only a 30-minute drive into Eagle and the bigger cities. Emmett is the perfect place for those that truly appreciate the quiet small-town living. There is tremendous hometown pride in Emmett from their small-town high-school football games to the annual Emmett Cherry Festival that brings over 50,000 visitors to this part of the valley during the four-day event.

RECREATION & SCENERY There really is nowhere in the Treasure Valley that has the rugged beauty that surrounds Emmett. The breathtaking scenery you see as you descend into the Emmett Valley on Highway 16 is amazing. The Payette River brings abounding recreation
