The 2nd Festival of Learning 2024 has arrived, bringing a vibrant celebration that reflects the pillars of our community: collaboration, entrepreneurship, digital fluency, and sustainability. This event brings together learners, families, and educators to showcase the incredible project journeys of our students, highlighting their discoveries and achievements throughout the semester.
The festival is a special opportunity to recognize the dedication and talent of our learners, offering them the well-deserved acknowledgment of their remarkable accomplishments. It is also a time to strengthen our community connection, celebrating continuous learning and collective growth.

In the project "How Can Our Use of Earth's Resources Support Sustainability?", Grade 1 learners explored the properties of materials and natural resources, learning how their use affects Earth's sustainability. They examined materials like metals, plastics, wood, and glass, understanding their origins, properties, and environmental impacts, including renewable vs. non-renewable resources and waste disposal.

At the Festival of Learning, Grade 1 parents will be welcomed with a retrospective of the project and the school year, followed by an immersive experience where learners explain their discoveries. Next, they will explore the content studied in each subject and appreciate an art exhibition featuring a sustainable bag made by the learners. To conclude, they will watch a video highlighting meaningful moments from the project.

In "Voice Beyond Imagination," Grade 2 learners explored storytelling, using their unique voices and ideas to spark creativity. Through reading, writing, and imaginative activities, they developed original settings, characters, and narratives while learning key storytelling elements like plot, character traits, and descriptive language to bring their ideas to life.

At the Festival of Learning, we will begin with a presentation in the library about the projects and experiences of the year Next, parents will participate in four activities from the *Voices of Imagination* project: learners will share the book they created, demonstrate math practices, lead a world-building workshop, and engage in a body and movement interaction.

They will then explore a timeline of the Ribeirão Preto and Shared Earth projects, featuring art exhibits and design thinking displays In 'C' Hall, they will explore the reading and writing content covered during the semester To conclude, a student-organized product sale will showcase their planning and entrepreneurship skills.

They studied past inventions, simple machines, and the science behind them, connecting these concepts to societal changes. They also examined technology’s impact on geography, jobs, and daily life, and brainstormed future inventions to address global challenges
