Play is the highest form of research, said Albert Einstein. As researchers, learners will explore together varied forms of play, through time, different contexts, languages, and cultures. During this journey, they will practice flexible thinking and finding humor, while collaborating and discovering sustainable ways to keep playing.

The Festival of Learning experience is for parents only. It would be interesting for people to visit to raise awareness about responsible consumption and sustainability, to create new toys with recyclable objects, and also to understand that playing is for all ages.

The project "How do different professions contribute to our society?" will involve Grade 2 classes in activities to understand the importance of professions in the community. Using experiences such as Career Day, field trips, and guest speakers, learners will explore different jobs, reflecting on thought-provoking questions like "Why do we need different professions?" and "What skills are important in a job?". Children will be encouraged to think and practice the habits of mind of persisting, questioning, and posing problems, maintaining an investigative attitude. The project aims to cultivate an appreciation for the diverse roles shaping the community through creative activities, inspiring each child to envision their potential future contributions.
O projeto "Como diferentes profissões contribuem para a nossa sociedade?" envolverá turmas do 2º ano em atividades para entender a importância das profissões na comunidade. Utilizando experiências como Dia das Profissões, passeios e palestrantes convidados, os aprendizes explorarão diferentes trabalhos, refletindo sobre questões instigantes como "Por que precisamos de diferentes profissões?" e "Quais habilidades são importantes em um emprego?" As crianças serão incentivadas a pensar e praticar os hábitos mentais de persistência, questionamento e formulação de problemas, mantendo uma atitude investigativa O projeto tem como objetivo cultivar uma apreciação pelos diversos papéis que moldam a comunidade por meio de atividades criativas, inspirando cada criança a vislumbrar suas potenciais contribuições futuras.

Grade 2 learners prepared a Profession's Fair to present some jobs for their families The group will also present a vídeo with some short English plays they wrote and acted. All the comunity is invited to come and learn more about the world of different professions and their importance in our community.
Os estudantes do 2º ano prepararam uma Feira das Profissões para apresentar alguns empregos para suas famílias. O grupo também apresentará um vídeo com algumas peças curtas em inglês que eles escreveram e atuaram. Toda a comunidade está convidada a vir e aprender mais sobre o mundo das diferentes profissões e sua importância em nossa comunidade

This project was related to learning about soil. During the project, learners did different activities, compared various kinds of soil, and learned how to better use it. This project was about thinking, gathering information, and solving problems, while learning how to take better care of the Earth.
Este projeto foi relacionado ao aprendizado sobre o solo Durante o projeto, os estudante realizaram diversas atividades, compararam vários tipos de solo e aprenderam como utilizá-los melhor Este projeto consistiu em pensar, coletar informações e resolver problemas, ao mesmo tempo em que aprenderam como cuidar melhor da Terra.
O que vai acontecer no FOL?
Learners will recreate planet Earth and its internal layers, use a homemade water filter to filter dirty water, observe particle size with a microscope, take a gallery walk of the final product and visit the garden created outside the campus.
Estudantes irão recriar o planeta Terra e suas camadas internas, utilizar o filtro de água caseiro para filtrar água suja, observar tamanho de partículas com microscópio, gallery walk do produto final e visitar a horta criada na área externa do campus.

The project traced how immigration has influenced Brazil's sociocultural context, from the arrival of the Portuguese to the present day. It addressed the motivations behind the immigration process, contributions to Brazilian society, and changes and continuities over time.
O projeto fala de como as imigrações influenciaram o contexto sociocultural do Brasil, desde a chegada dos portugueses, até os dias atuais. Foi-se abordada quais as motivação do processo imigratório, as contribuições para a sociedade brasileira e as mudanças e permanencias ao longo do tempo
O que vai acontecer no FOL?
It will be a showcase of art activities linked to the project, as well as the final products, a game, and a book, created by the learners. Visitors will be invited to take a gallery walk through the rooms and learn about the project by interacting with the final products.
Será uma amostra das atividades de artes linkadas com o projeto, assim como dos produtos finais, jogo e livro, elaborado pelos estudantes. Visitantes serão convidados a fazer uma gallery walk nas salas e aprender sobre o projeto através dos produtos

As we began the year exploring the interests of the new group of fifth graders, educators noticed a great interest in Natural Science. Once presented with some of the contents they will learn this year, the group decided to start by learning more about health and the human body systems. Some curiosity questions demonstrated prior knowledge, such as, “In which organ does food go after the stomach?”, “What are gas exchanges and what do they do in the respiratory system?”, and “In the (food) pyramid, why are breads first if fruits do more good?” Focusing on the Global Goal of Good Health and Well-Being, through this project, learners described some of the connections between systems in the human body and researched factors that influence the quality of life for humans
Ao iniciarmos o ano explorando os interesses do novo grupo de estudantes do quinto ano, os educadores notaram um grande interesse pelas Ciências Naturais. Depois de apresentados alguns dos conteúdos que eles irão aprender este ano, o grupo decidiu começar por aprender mais sobre a saúde e os sistemas do corpo humano Algumas questões de curiosidade demonstraram conhecimento prévio, como “Em qual órgão o alimento vai depois do estômago?”, “O que são as trocas gasosas e o que elas fazem no sistema respiratório?” e “Na pirâmide (alimentar), por que os pães vêm primeiro se as frutas fazem mais bem?”. Com foco no Objetivo Global de Boa Saúde e Bem-Estar, através deste projeto, os estudantes descreveram algumas conexões entre os sistemas do corpo humano e pesquisaram sobre fatores que influenciam a qualidade de vida dos seres humanos
O que vai acontecer no FOL?
Grade 5 learners invite their families to a presentation of their learning journey. They will explain what they learned and show videos they produced to inform others about certain health issues.
Os estudantes do 5º ano convidam as suas famílias para uma apresentação de sua jornada de aprendizagem Eles explicarão o que aprenderam e mostrarão vídeos que produziram para informar outras pessoas sobre determinados problemas de saúde.
