The real estate industry is an evolving industry that is now leveraging digital methods, including the use of social media to make lots of things happen. Lately, a new social media networking app has been trending, but only a few people know what this a billion dollar app does and its importance to businesses. Let’s introduce you to the newest social media networking app Clubhouse.

CLUBHOUSE 101: A Real Estate Agent’s Guide to the Newest Social Networking App WHAT IS CLUBHOUSE? Clubhouse is an audio-based app that allows people to talk, discuss certain issues, meet interesting people, and develop ideas. Think of this app as a podcast, where only voice are heard and no images. A lot of people are already using the app as a marketing tool for their businesses. For over a month, the app has become a spot for real estate agents to discuss and share best practices, get relevant information and ideas along the lines of investment opportunities. Unfortunately, this app is in the beta stage and can only be accessed by iPhone users. HOW TO GAIN ACCESS You can gain access in two ways - by being invited by an existing user and by downloading the app. In the first method, the existing user offers an invitation to the new user, and as the latter interacts within the app, they would be granted more to share. If you download the app, your friends who are existing users will be notified, and 24 l

may let you in without sharing their invites. Once you have been able to access the app, you will be prompted to create a profile. Ensure you put up a stunning and crisp profile photo and write an engaging bio that give other users insight on who you are and what you do. You can take part in conversations and listen. If you want, you can start a private chatroom and invite your friends or close associates to it. You can join clubs - places where people of similar interests meet and discuss. Real estate agents are using this app to establish connections with potential clients. They believe this platform to be powerful for networking opportunities and also learn from industry experts. As a real estate agent, joining this trendy app can open up lots of opportunities for you. You may never know who your next big client would be.
