Re-imaging Rural America:

Reviving Our Communities by Tapping and Leveraging Community Assets

By a rural community, everyone thinks of it as something less urban and perceived as lacking. This results in people focusing on the challenges of these communities rather than their strengths or what they are good for. Rural communities do not deserve to be treated as underdeveloped areas.

These communities have history, diverse cultures, and people. They are much more than how we perceive them to be. Many are rich in resources and potential, and by comprehending their strengths, policymakers can leverage them to build a better community revolving around their resources and potentials. Eventually, this will better the lives of the inhabitants. But, how can the government leverage these assets to revive the communities and make them better havens?

QUESTIONS THE GOVERNMENT MUST HAVE ANSWERS TO

You can only do this by studying the various census tracts based on these seven groups - natural, human, financial, cultural, built, social, and political capital. How many of these people in rural areas have access to broadband internet, domestic emergency operations, highways, transportation stations, affordable housing, and cell service coverage?

How many has access to convention centers, cultural employment occupations, banks and credit unions, financial institutions, child care centers, college and universities, farmers’ markets, health instance coverage? Do they have access to oil and natural gas? And if they do, what is the quality of air in the area? Income, education, and health are three assets that describes the development of a place, and government can leverage on communities that score strong scores in these areas alongside natural resources to foster a better infrastructural development.

There are still great houses in these communities that are secure and comfortable. If you have wanted to live in these areas, but haven’t got a house yet, our agents will help you do that expertly. All you have to do is to reach out to Eric Lawrence Frazier, and he would be quick to respond.
