ENMU Offers New Study Abroad Scholarship for Students By: Jacob Mercer

ENMU recently established a Study Abroad Scholarship to enhance the opportunity for students to spend a semester studying at a university outside of the U.S. In a practical sense, studying abroad strengthens students’ resumes in an increasingly globalized job market, and builds their intercultural skills, language skills, adaptability, creativity and comprehensive knowledge of their field that employers are seeking. Through CONAHEC, students can enroll at ENMU while courses at a host institution count toward their degree plans. They continue to pay ENMU tuition and keep their financial aid — with airfare, cost of living and in-country travel as additional expenses. The new Study Abroad Scholarship will allow more ENMU students to have access to this opportunity.
