CALE SANDERS (FOOTBALL) One of the most decorated players of his era, Cale Sanders (BS 04) was a prolific receiver from 1999-2003 in an offense that was built around running the ball. A First Team All-Lone Star Conference selection in 2001, he ranked seventh in the league in receptions per game to go along with 948 yards and six scores. That performance resulted in a Preseason AllAmerica selection in 2002. Sanders was also chosen Honorable Mention All-LSC in 2000. He led the Hounds to three straight Wagon Wheel wins and hauled in four receptions for 82 yards and a score in 2001. Sanders is still ranked in numerous statistical categories.
