Ministry To Host Virtual Walk Run For Life Align Life Ministries has announced that its 2020 Walk Run for Life will be a virtual event. To participate, individuals may choose a healthy, safe, and fun activity to do by Saturday, May 9, such as running, walking, playing dodgeball, taking a bike ride, having a catch, hiking, or playing hopscotch. They should also take a picture of themselves doing the activity and post it to their Facebook or Instagram account using hashtags #WalkRunforLife2020 and #AlignLifeMinistries; pictures may also be emailed to info@alignlifeministries.org. Those who plan to run the 5K distance should measure their distance and track their time. They should then email their name, age, and final run time to info@alignlifeministries.org by midnight on May 9. Medals will be mailed to winners, and all 5K participants will receive swag. The event season will culminate on May 9 at 9:30 a.m. with a five- to 10-minute livestream video. The Walk Run for Life is a major fundraiser for Align Life Ministries, and participants have the opportunity to raise funds for the ministry by garnering pledges through an online fundraising page, which is automatically created when they register.
