Chamber’s 150th Annual Dinner Set The Lancaster Chamber will hold its 150th annual dinner from 4 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, at the Lancaster Convention Center, 25 S. Queen St., Lancaster. A reception will begin the evening from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by dinner and a program from 6 to 9 p.m. An after party will start at 9 p.m.

The Old Iron Grill plans to be operational by noon on Friday and to continue offering food throughout the weekend. Visitors may access the parking area from Swift Road. Bethany Presbyterian Church, 25 N. West End Ave., Lancaster, will hold a basement sale on Saturday, May 21, from 8 a.m. to noon. The sale will be set up in two large rooms in the church. Shoppers will find household goods such as linens, books and puzzles, works of art, home decor, gifts, and furniture items like TV cabinets and tables. In addition, there will be an assortment of homemade food items available for takeout, including pulled pork, vegetable beef soup, and chili.

Boy Scout Troop 4 will serve hot dogs with chips, a beverage, and dessert on the back lawn. Toppings will include ketchup, mustard, onions, and sauerkraut. Bethany has sponsored Scouting at the church for more than 60 years. Parking and a handicapped-accessible ramp are located at the rear of the church. Shoppers can also enter via the front stairs that lead to Donegal and Westminster halls. Proceeds from the basement sale will benefit local charities.
