The Keystone Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) recently announced that three new team members have joined the chapter staff: Derek Robbins of New Cumberland, HVAC instructor for the ABC Keystone apprenticeship program; Janet Gribble of Ronks, assistant director of marketing and communications; and Lori Allison of Columbia, administrative assistant, member services.
Robbins is a certified EPA608 proctor from the ESCO Institute, providing HVAC Level 1 apprentices the opportunity to prepare for and take the EPA608 Universal Certification exam. Robbins has more than 15 years experience in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) industry. In his role at ABC, he will instruct students in HVAC/R installation, service, maintenance and troubleshooting of
residential and commercial HVAC/R systems. Robbins also earned his refrigeration technician license, journeyman sheet metal license and oil burners license. In addition to his HVAC/R trade experience, he served as an enlisted military police officer.
