Farmworker Family Health Program

The summer immersion program was a tremendous success, with 126 participants in week 1 and 111 in week 2, including 8 Emory In MOTION students The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the hard work and dedication of the team. This year, a record 1,175 patients were seen, marking another milestone for the program. The team also transitioned to fully paperless charting by the second night of week 1 Congrats to the Farmworker Family Health Program team on another great year and thanks to the Ellenton Clinic for their continued support of this program!

Students enrolled in N307 will be introduced to a social responsibility framework as a model of professional nursing practice Students will develop essential skills to provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care and interpersonal skills to establish effective professional relationships. The course includes an experiential learning component and will be accompanied by 30 service learning hours.

Evaluation of Emory in MOTION includes assessing the merit, value, worth, and significance of the program to NHWSN, HRSA, and our community partners. The evaluation process incorporates activities such as conducting focus groups, surveys, and interviews. The active participation of all students, partners, and stakeholders is critical to the success of the program.
