This wooden pavilion installed on the beach was very challenging to build, especially respecting the 8 millimeter grid with 1mm walnut sticks.

Flour was used to respect the thin scale of the sand, and the existing building and path were cast in plaster.

The idea within this project was to create a range of street furniture which is developing a link between the two aspects of the site: the city and nature.

Nine art entities are displayed along the seashore to reconnect the users to their site, while providing them what they need to be protected from the weather in winter and feel welcomed in summer.

Wade Saunders - sculpture - plaster

september 2013 - june 2014

I worked on the “imaginary city”. I made a few plaster models that were cast in clay. This project and his urban planning theme taught me about the organization of a city.
