Anna Adams has an M.A. from Boston University in Latin American literature and a Ph.D. from Temple University in Latin American History. She is Professor Emerita of History from Muhlenberg College, where she taught Latin American, Latino and women’s history. Her academic interests center on nonCatholic religious communities in Latin America and among Latinos in the United States. She is a translator for La Presa.

Andrea Alzati: (Guanajuato, Gto., 1989). Poeta & artista visual. Estudió Literatura Latinoamericana en la Universidad Iberoamericana. Becaria del programa Jóvenes Creadores del FONCA en la disciplina de Poesía 20162017. Autora de los libros: Animal Doméstico, (México: Juan Malasuerte, 2017.) España: Ediciones Liliputienses, 2020), Algo tan oscuro que no tiene nombre (México: Dharma Books & Publishing, 2018), y Todos mis quchillos (Valdivia: Komorebi Ediciones, 2019.) Paul Bamberger earned an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Massachusetts, has several books of poetry published, most recently: On The Badlands Of New Times. Deerbrook Editions.

Born in Buenos Aires, María Luisa Baragli’s first thirteen years were influenced by her grandparents and the neighborhoods of La Boca and San Telmo. When she began drawing at 28, the images were both imaginary and familiar. She lives in Portland, Oregon, often traveling to South America, Costa Rica, Mexico and Spain

Flor Bosco: (León, Gto., México, 1970.) Ensambladora de objetos y palabras. En el año 2000 funda el taller Mundo Quimérico, donde trabaja en la experimentación de técnicas para el desarrollo de su propuesta creativa. Cuenta con más de 60 exposiciones entre individuales y colectivas. Su obra ha sido expuesta en varios recintos oficiales del país. En 2004 obtiene la beca estatal Creadores con Trayectoria. Desde 2010 ha escrito cuentos y poemas como soporte para su obra plástica. Ha publicado los libros de artista: 4

Paula Dunning is a retired freelance editor who lives in Echo Bay, Ontario. She writes memoir, essays, and occasional short fiction. Her work has been aired on CBC Radio and published in the Canadian Literary Journal, Agnes and True, as well as in La Presa. Her memoir, Shifting Currents, explores the personal and cultural conflicts of a young urban woman who went “back to the land” in the 1970s and 1980s. An essay collection, The Stuff of a Life, is scheduled for publication this fall.

Alexis Figueroa Aracena: (Concepción, Chile, 1956.) Escritor, investigador artístico/literario y productor cultural. Su trabajo en poesía se inicia en los años 80, con Vírgenes del sol inn cabaret, libro con el que se integra al canon de la neo vanguardia chilena. Ha publicado El laberinto circular y otros poemas, Folclórica. Doc, Finis térrea, Las gallinas zombies y otros poemas casi infantiles, Paprika el japo y otros cuentos, Santa María de Todas las Horas, en los géneros de poesía, cuento y novela. Junto a Claudio Romo, ilustrador y artista visual publica Fragmentos de una biblioteca transparente I y II, Informe Tunguska, Lota 1960: la huelga larga del carbón y Herbolaria Memorable, ésta última en el 2021. En las artes mediales ha trabajado con República Portátil y Terkofilms producciones, habiendo desarrollado elementos de poesía visual. Ha obtenido el Premio Casa de las Américas, el Premio Municipal de Arte de su ciudad natal y el Premio Baldomero Lillo de literatura de su región, la VIII región del país.

Jorge Luis Flores Hernández is a writer and translator. He has published several short stories in the collections Vampiro y otros cuentos, Poquito porque es bendito and Para leerlos todos as well as in the magazines Alternativas and Dédalo. His first literary translation, “The Bad Photographer” by Juan Villoro, published by AGNI, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize for short fiction.

Karla Evelia Gasca Macías es escritora y gestora cultural. Ha tomado cursos con Ana García Bergua y Alberto Laiseca, este último en el Centro Cultural Rector Ricardo Rojas de la UBA. Ha publicado en las revistas Ritmo, imaginación y crítica de la UNAM, Entretextos de la UIA León y Enjambre de la UG. Es coordinadora de la antología Crestomatía-Gymkata, 10 escritores leoneses. Sus cuentos cortos aparecen en las antologías Para leerlos todos y Poquito porque es bendito.

Olga Gutiérrez Galindo: (Torreón, México) Poeta. Físico-Matemática (ITESM, Campus Monterrey). Traductora. Editora de la antología bilingüe del San Diego Poetry Annual. Escritora bilingüe (español e inglés). Autora de los libros de poesía en inglés: Re-Versed, Ostrich Sky, Disclosed, In Vitro, Poetica Mathematica, y los libros de poesía en español: ÍÍÉ, Binaria, Emily, Dark Matter y Visitaciones. Norbert Hirschhorn is a public health physician, commended by President Bill Clinton as an “American Health Hero,” and proud to follow in the tradition of physician-poets. After two decades abroad he now lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He has published six collections, the most recent a bilingual Arabic-English co-translation with Syrian physician-poet Fouad M. Fouad, Once Upon a Time in Aleppo, of the latter’s poems (Hippocrates Press). See his website, www.bertzpoet.com.

Maureen Hynes is a Toronto poet who has published five books of poetry, the most recent being Sotto Voce (Brick Books). She has won the League of Canadian Poets’ Gerald Lampert Award, and other collections have been shortlisted for the League’s Raymond Souster and Pat Lowther Awards. Her work has been included in over 25 anthologies, including The Best of the Best Canadian Poems in English, and twice longlisted for the CBC Canada Reads poetry contest. (www.maureenhynes.com).

Brian Jerrold Koester is a Pushcart Prize nominee and a Best of the Net Anthology nominee. His collection is titled What Keeps Me Awake (Silver Bow Publishing) and his chapbook Bossa Nova (River Glass Books). His work has appeared in Agni, Streetlight Magazine, Delmarva Review, Right Hand Pointing, Louisiana Literature, and elsewhere. He lives in Lexington, Massachusetts and has been a freelance cellist.

Annie LaBarge is a poet and artist whose poems have appeared in holding on, letting go, edited by Abigail Thomas, in BigCityLit, La Presa, Laughing Earth Lit, and Celebrate Life. She founded Kingston’s Spoken Word, a reading series for authors and poets, curated the exhibit: Art and Poetry for the Columbia County Council for the Arts, and taught art at Skidmore College, Florida State University and in NY and FL public schools. Annie teaches tai chi for the Lifetime Learning Institute at Bard College and HealthAlliance Hospital’s oncology support program.

Bruce McRae, a Canadian musician and multiple Pushcart nominee, has had work r in hundreds of publications around the world. The winner of the 2020 Libretto Chapbook Prize (20 Sonnets), his books include The SoCalled Sonnet, An Unbecoming Fit Of Frenzy, ‘Like As If, All Right Already, and Hearsay.

Neal Moriarty: (Quito, 1988). Licenciado en Filosofía y Máster en Estudios de la Cultura. Director de la Revista Literaria Independiente Matapalo. Seleccionado en la antología internacional ‘2020 S.O.S’. Segunda Mención Honrosa, Categoría Poesía, en el “XVII Concurso Literario Gonzalo Rojas Pizarro”, Lebu, Chile. Primera Mención de Honor, “III Concurso Nacional de Poesía ‘David Ledesma’”, Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Augusto Nava Mora: Doctor en Filología Italiana por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid; es especialista en Dante Alighieri. Estudió Letras Españolas en la Universidad de Guanajuato. Hizo estudios de postgrado en Filosofía de la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona y obtuvo en la Universidad Complutense el Diploma de Estudios Avanzados en Teoría de la Literatura y Literatura Comparada. Además de publicar ensayos literarios y políticos, ha colaborado en varios proyectos que conjuntan las artes visuales y escénicas con la poesía: una exposición en la Embajada de Japón en México (2002), dos cortometrajes de arte y ensayo en Madrid (2008, como guionista, y 2017, como co-director, co-guionista y actor) y una puesta en escena con Teatro Kalipatos (de donde viene el poema que presentamos). Ha hecho también traducciones de teoría del cine (italiano-español, portuguésespañol), en particular, sobre el cineasta brasileño Glauber Rocha. En la Complutense y en el Museo del Prado ha tomado cursos de iconografía antigua, pintura flamenca y escultura clásica. Vive en Madrid.

Brenda Nicholas’ work has appeared in The Painted Bride Quarterly, Red River Review, Unbroken, Illya’s Honey, Menacing Hedge, The Helix Magazine, and other journals. Her chapbook Hari Om, Hurry Home is forthcoming at Finishing Line Press this summer. Her full-length poetry manuscript has recently been selected as a semifinalist for the 2020 Philip Levine Poetry Prize and is forthcoming at Kelsay Books. She earned an MFA from UNCW and teaches English at Temple College in Texas.

Dennis Páez Muñoz: (Chile, 1986.) Doctor en Teoría de la Literatura y Literatura Comparada por la Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. Ha publicado artículos de investigación en diversas revistas, y recientemente editó el libro Poesía visual en Chile (2020) donde estudia las poéticas visuales producidas desde inicios del siglo XX. En la actualidad investiga los cruces entre Poesía y Video en las producciones audiovisuales hispanoamericanas.

Irish-Canadian poet Jade Riordan lives and writes north of 60 in the land of the midnight sun. She is currently a medical student at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Her poetry has appeared in Augur Magazine, EgoPHobia, Strange Horizons, and elsewhere.

J. J. Steinfeld is a poet/fiction writer/playwright living on Prince Edward Island, where he is patiently waiting for Godot’s arrival and a phone call from Kafka. Gavin Tessier lives in Toronto, Ontario, teaching voice, co-running a music school and occasionally visiting beautiful Guanajuato with his family. He doesn’t regularly write, but felt a strong need to communicate to his grandfather before he passed away.

Sarah Van Arsdale’s sixth book, Taken, a poetry collection, is forthcoming in fall, 2021, with Finishing Line Press. Her essays, fiction, and poetry have been published in journals including Guernica, Blueline, and Bayou Magazine, and she’s been a resident at The Ragdale Foundation, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and elsewhere. She teaches in the Antioch/LA low-residency MFA program.

Nico Vassilakis writes poetry about reading seeing and draws language that focuses on the visual jettisoning of letters from their word position. He has published seven books of poetry and text/art. Most recently VOIR DIRE was published by Dusie Books. Vassilakis co-edited The Last Vispo Anthology: Visual Poetry 1998-2008 (Fantagraphics Books) and was a curator of several international visual/concrete poetry exhibitions. He currently lives in Greenville, IL USA with his wife.
