The International Restaurant Row is an amazing block of restaurants and bars that light up the night in the Mission Hills area of San Diego. Venues like the Shakespeare Pub and Saffron Thai can definitely make you and your girls feel like your dreaming around the world. And if you have not been to El Indio Mexican Restaurant you are SO MISSING OUT!! Founded in 1940, this restaurant brings life and tradition to our city. They make their tortillas right in front of you like in a classic corner “tortilleria” style. You can take a kilo home, or better yet, buy your own masa and make them at home with your Latinas for a night of fun. Since September is Hispanic Heritage Month, we would be remiss if we did not mention that right around the corner from El Indio you can visit Lucha Libre Taco Shop, delicious food in a wrestling environment- bring it on! With so many options we recommend you pace yourselves, the food and the fun cocktails you will find in every restaurant are worth tasting all of them! This gem is located on the North part of India Street, between Redwood and Washington Streets. The International Restaurant Row is an absolute MUST for this fall season, so grab your Latinas and plan your escape- No passport needed!!
