Description: Join us to get a closer look at the CLASS tool, as well as the requirements for the School Readiness Program Assessment. Now that you have had your CLASS observation, what should be your next step? Your CLASS scores give you more information about your teaching practice than you think! Come and explore how to “read” the story of your CLASS scores. Special Note: This course satisfies Part 1 of the MASTER CLASS Series Quality Improvement Strategy. This course is only for programs with composite scores between 3.5-3.99. Contact the ELCHC if you have questions about your composite assessment score for the school readiness program.

OUTCOMES: Learners will examine the CLASS Tool, observation process and threshold scores in relation to the evaluation requirements of the school readiness program assessment. Learners will discuss how they can interpret and plan professional development using CLASS scores. Using a Summary Score Sheet from a CLASS Observation, learners will demonstrate an understanding of how to interpret the data to identify strengths, challenges and areas of practice requiring change in order to increase scores during observations.

Description: Frustrated by complaints from parents and colleagues? Explore the best way to receive and effectively respond to complaints in your classroom.
