Con Medicaid me siento más segura

Con Medicaid me siento más segura de llevar a mis hijos el doctor, porque lo primero que me preguntan cuándo hago una cita para ellos es “tienen seguro médico”. Soy madre de 3 niños y una niña, pero dos si tienen seguro médico y dos no, la diferencia es mucha y batallo más con los que no tienen, me piden más información de ellos y la espera, es más.

Es muy importante tener seguro médico. Me siento con más seguridad de llevarlos al doctor cuando se enferman. Si tienen seguro médico, lo más que he esperado para una cita son dos días, pero si no tienen aseguranza he tenido que esperar más de una semana o hasta dos para que los puedan ver. Si los tengo que llevar a emergencias con Medicaid no tengo que pagar nada. Yo no podría pagar esas facturas tan altas. Cuando me llegan las cartas de los beneficios que han obtenido mis hijos y veo lo que ha pagado Medicaid, yo me asunto. Yo siento que no podría pagar ese dinero.

Es muy importante para mí como madre que mis hijos tengan su seguro médico y siempre estoy al pendiente cuando llega su renovación. Yo me siento muy agradecida Gracias a Dios y a Medicaid.

With Medicaid I Feel More Assured

With Medicaid I feel more confident when taking my children to the doctor, because the first thing they ask me when I make an appointment is “Do they have health insurance?” I am a mother of 3 boys and a girl, but only two have health insurance. The difference is noticeable, and I struggle more with the two who do not have insurance. At the clinic they ask for more information and the wait is longer for appointments.

It’s very important to have health insurance. With insurance I feel safer to take them to the doctor when they get sick. If they have insurance, the longest I have waited is two days for an appointment, but if they don’t have insurance, I have had to wait more than a week or even two to get them seen. If I have to take them to the ER with Medicaid I don’t have to worry about bills I can’t pay. When I receive the letters of the benefits that my children have obtained and I see what Medicaid has paid, I freak out. I feel like I couldn’t pay that money if they didn’t have coverage.

It is very important to me as a mother that my children have their health insurance, and I am always on the lookout for their renewal. I am very grateful to God and Medicaid.
