ARCHITECTURE For these systems to work together within the prefabrication, all trades must be consulted and apart of an integrated process; all of which is documented and rigorously modeled as apart of highly detailed CNC files.

Envelope Selection: HOLZRAUM system for its smart carbon approach and vapor-open assembly. (from ext. to int.) The assembly consists of a reclaimed wood rainscreen, 2 layers of staggered 3/4” STEICO wood fiber insulation board, cellulose insulation densely packed between 2x6 studs, 3/4” zip sheathing acting as a vapor/moisture barrier, and a 1/2” STRAWTEC panel. The system is fabricated off-site by Blueprint Robotics, greatly reducing wasted time on site.

Window Selection: ZOLA THERMOCLAD For its compatibility with the HOLZRAUM pre-fabrication process and high insulative performance. This system offers a good balance between cost, insulation, and durability (lifespan), featuring a thermal broken aluminum-clad wood frame, tilt and turn operation, and triple glazed assembly for an overall U-Value of .15.
