Fall Fun Family-Friendly Fall and Halloween Events Across the State Compiled by Veronica Leon

all is here and that means fall festivals, apple picking, hayrides, and Halloween. We know you’re too busy to search out all of the fall fun yourself so we have done it for you. We want to make sure your family doesn’t miss a thing. So here’s a round-up of all the fall fun in Arizona. (Be sure to check each event’s website before attending as things may change given COVID-19.) APPLE ANNIE’S ORCHARD FALL PUMPKIN CELEBRATION Through October 31 appleannies.com Fall time at the farm means pumpkins, hayrides, a corn maze, and fall weather. Bring the whole family for a fun-filled day. Pick your own apples in the orchard and pumpkins in the farm, enjoy pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, and homemade cider donuts. FAIRMONT SCOTTSDALE PRINCESS PUMPKIN NIGHTS Through October 31 scottsdaleprincess.com/pumpkin-nights Carve out some fun this fall season and join us at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess with friends and family as the resort transforms for its first annual Spooktacular event, Pumpkin Nights #AtThePrincess! wide interactive and family engagement event with seasonal activities, themes, local food vendors and beverages. The events will feature a pumpkin farm stand, music, hot-air balloon “glows,” inflatables, kids and family activities, a beer garden and just about something for every age group. HALLOWEEN TOWN PUMPKIN PATCH October 22 - October 31 (Thursday through Sunday) halloweentownaz.com Halloween Town Pumpkin Patch’s fee is $5 and parking is free. Find family fun with fun rides, games, and other attractions, (face painting, arts and crafts, and more). You can pick your pumpkin through the pumpkin patch. Rides are geared toward kids ages 2-7, with activities to fit all ages. MACDONALD’S RANCH PUMPKIN PATCH Through October 31 (closed on Tuesdays) macdonaldsranch.com/pumpkin-patch The annual MacDonald’s Ranch Pumpkin Patch is once again bringing the fall fun. Purchase an entrance ticket at the door to see the original pumpkin patch. For those that would just like a pumpkin and do not wish to participate in the other western festivities, MacDonald’s Ranch will have a mini pumpkin patch available at the entrance for you to buy pumpkins. MOTHER NATURE’S FARM PUMPKIN PATCH Through October 31 mothernaturesfarm.com/pumpkinpatch The farm entrance fee is $10 per child; this includes a pumpkin, the air bounce, a hayride, spider web crawl, feeding the animals, and Alexander’s Adventure Maze. Adults are $5 to tag along and ride the hayride. Bring a picnic lunch and your friends. They

have picnic tables, grassy fields, big shade trees, and plenty of room for the kids to be kids. Food is available at Maneau’s Munchies. MORTIMER FARMS PUMPKIN FEST & CORN MAZE Through November 1 mortimerfarmsaz.com/PumpkinFestival Enjoy a “u-pick” pumpkin patch, corn maze, hay rides, fun farm inspired rides, farm animals, and more. PEORIA’S ANNUAL HALLOWEEN MONSTER BASH October 24 peoriaaz.gov Details are still in the works for this annual event that takes place at Peoria Sports Complex. Be sure to check on their website to not miss any of the scary fun! SCHNEPF FARMS PUMPKIN & CHILI PARTY Through November 1 (closed Mondays) schnepffarms.com Schnepf Farms offers a pumpkin patch and chili party, from rides, games, shows and so much more. STORYBOOK ENTERTAINMENT SPOOKTACULAR October 31 storybookentertainmentaz.com/storybookspooktacular.html Join Storybook for the exciting Trick or Treat event. Keeping safety in mind, they have created an incredible experience for your children to dress up, meet favorite characters, take photos, decorate a trick or treat bag, and trick or treat at the character stations. TOLMACHOFF FARMS PUMPKIN DAYS & CORN MAZE Through November 1 tolmachoff-farms.com Six acres of family fun with a great pumpkin patch, corn maze and a new theme every year. Mini corn maze (perfect for the little ones), haunted corn maze and other activities, including: a petting zoo, train ride, hay pyramid, corn box, adult/child pedal cart track, jumping pillow and much more. VERTUCCIO FARMS FAMILY FESTIVAL Through November 1 vertucciofarms.com/fall-festival A corn maze, air playground, train ride, tube slide, farm animals and bouncy houses for all ages; $12 per person and age 2 and under are free.
