In this session, I will review the constructs of personality traits and motivations and introduce how they shape and motivate our behaviors. We will explore the definition and meaning of personality and motivation, the connection between these two concepts, and how understanding this connection can impact our behavior and drive towards success. Understanding the relationship between these two concepts can be a valuable tool for individuals seeking to better understand themselves and their motivations
This session will help students understand that not all children are the same They don't respond the same, they have different personalities and have different love languages. Learning how to decode this information quickly about students can help you build better relationships, help guide them and deter behaviors.
This workshop is a crash course for learning and understanding what authentic family engagement is and how to use family engagement as a tool to support student learning, promote positive student behavior, and grow relationships.

“Teaching is a learn-by-doing profession; it is not enough to know it, you must also experience it ” “Get Schooled” focuses on clarifying the college search for students to maximize their real-world classroom experiences within their teacher ed program Beginning with a partner activity, this presentation portrays the “learn-by-doing” aspects of teaching and shows the value of combining both head knowledge and classroom experience for success.
Students can benefit from learning mindfulness techniques for a variety of reasons, encompassing both their academic and personal development. Introducing mindfulness into the classroom fosters a positive and supportive learning environment. Mindfulness practices, such as meditation and deepbreathing exercises, can enhance attention and concentration. This, in turn, can positively impact academic performance by helping students stay focused during lectures and while completing assignments. It can contribute to a culture of respect, understanding, and collaboration among students. Mindfulness is known to be effective in reducing stress levels, helping in making informed decisions, and maintaining mental well-being. Mindfulness practices promote self-awareness by encouraging students to observe their thoughts and feelings. This self-awareness can contribute to personal growth and a better understanding of oneself.
