NOTES The name of the piece, Euphorbia, relates to the flower Euphorbia Palustris. It is one of 66 deadly poisonous plants in Denmark. It is beautiful and very common. In the piece I wanted to transform the effect the poison would have one a human if someone ate it. Euphorbia is written with three possible setups: í Flute, clarinet, percussion, zither, violin, cello & electronics í Flute, clarinet, percussion, grand piano (prepared), violin, cello & electronics í Flute, clarinet, percussion, electric guitar, violin, cello & electronics The piece has been awarded a prize by the Danish Art Council, and a recording with the Curious Chamber Players, conducted by Rei Munakata, is available on dB Productions.
