Mette Nielsen
Stretch (2023) for viola and percussion
Dur. c. 10′
Stretch consists of three movements:
I. (appr. 1′25″)
II. (appr. 2′50″)
III. (appr. 5′40″)
II is half the tempo of I; III is half the tempo of II
The music of the previous movement is repeated at half tempo, and more sounds are discovered in the gaps resulting from the time stretch.
