and track that includes a real pit-stop. The venue would not be complete without the Ferrari Store, the café and a photographic set where visitors sit on-board a Ferrari, creating lasting memories. FROM ITS FOUNDATION INTO THE FUTURE Not far from Maranello, in the heart of Modena, the Enzo Ferrari Museum (MEF) is a complex strategically positioned in the city comprising the futuristic, yellow pavilion measuring 2,500 square metres and designed by the gifted architect Jan Kaplicky, flanked by the workshop belonging to Enzo’s father, Alfredo Ferrari, which has been meticulously restored as the home to the amazing Museum of Ferrari Engines. The traditional workshop interacts seamlessly with the new pavilion, forming
an open-air courtyard that is the perfect backdrop for any type of event. The main pavilion is a vast space void of columns and encumbrances and it is home to the Prancing Horse cars that have made history. The venue blends the past with the future, lending itself to evening cocktail parties and exclusive dinners. Adjoining this is a meeting room with a capacity for 180 conference, presentation or congress participants. The complex also features a restaurant-café and the Ferrari Store. MEF, due to its particularly accommodating shape, lends itself to a wide range of uses: when needed, indeed, it is possible to create a custom full immersion multi-projector show that turns the ceiling, most of the central walls and the side walls into a wrap-around theatre through the use of the 19 projectors dedicated to the Museum’s spectacular audio-visual show.
