If the latest previous two editions of VicenzaOro had anticipated an increase in visitors, also the last event held in Vicenza from to 11 September, confirmed such a trend closing with a +10% of foreign operators mainly coming from the Middle East ( 23 ), orth America (+22%), Russia and Ukraine (+19%) and Asia (+18%). An international audience that met under the sign of sustainability, the central theme of the exhibition that, this year, has also celebrated the ten-year partnership with CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation. Traceability, ethical trade, environment protection in the jewel supply chain were the hot topics of VicenzaOro September along with the universe of the new technologies that involved the whole sector in the Digital Talks organised in partnership with Federpreziosi Confcommercio. On the jewellery front, yellow gold always remains an evergreen and coloured stones find a renewed liveliness in rings characterised by
peculiar geometry. As for novelties, instead, this edition of VicenzaOro was marked by t o important agreements: the first ith Assocoral, the Association of Coral and Cameo Manufacturers for the valorisation of the district of Campania; the second with AFEMO – the Association of Manufacturers of Machinery and Tools for Jewellery, to support the role of machinery, already protagonist at VicenzaOro in the T-Evolution area, in the development of the jewellery sector.
