Our Summer Program staff believes in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. Our philosophy is grounded in the belief that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to learn and grow in their own way.
We believe that play is an essential component of childhood and that children should be encouraged to explore, imagine, and create in a supportive and stimulating environment. Our staff is dedicated to providing a variety of activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development through impactful programming.
At our program, we value diversity and inclusivity, and we strive to create an environment where every child feels welcome, respected, and supported. We believe that children thrive when they feel safe and comfortable, and our staff is committed to creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere where campers can build positive relationships with each other and with our staff members.
Finally, we believe that parents play a crucial role in their child's development, and we strive to maintain open and effective communication with parents throughout the summer. We welcome parent feedback, and we are committed to working collaboratively with parents to ensure that each child has a positive and meaningful summer camp experience.

PROGRAM LOCATION AND DATES:
Easton Middle School .Tuesday, June 17thth through Friday, August 1st 2025. No program is provided on June 19th or July 4th.
NUTRITION, MEALS, HYDRATION, ALLERGIES
· Our day program does not provide meals for participants, and our staff asks that participants come prepared with proper nutrition for two snack breaks and a lunch period.
· Families are asked to provide lunches for their children for each day, and be conscious of allergies of other participants. With the health and safety of other participants in mind, we ask that snacks, meals, do not include nut-based products and are allergy friendly.
COMING PREPARED

Below is a recommended list of items to consider packing for our program each day. When packing items, please make sure to either label items or make them easily identifiable in case they are lost or misplaced by a child.
· Sunscreen: Protect your child’s skin from the sun’s harmful UV rays by packing a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. If they are not able to apply sunscreen on their own, please apply prior to drop off.
· Water bottle: Make sure your child stays hydrated throughout the day by packing a refillable water bottle.
· Hat: Keep your child’s head and face protected from the sun by packing a hat with a brim.
· Snacks: Pack healthy snacks like fruit, granola bars, or crackers to keep your child fueled throughout the day
· Lunch: Our program does not provide lunch, please pack a nutritious meal that can withstand being indoors or outdoors
Comfortable shoes: Make sure your child wears comfortable, closed-toe shoes suitable for running and playing outside.
· Extra clothes: Accidents and spills can happen, so pack an extra set of clothes in case your child needs to change.
· Medications: If your child takes any medications, make sure to pack them and provide clear instructions to the camp staff.


DAILY SCHEDULE
SCHEDULES
All activities will be in 45-50 minutes blocks, mirroring most school days Snack, water, and lunch breaks will be built in throughout the day.
8am - Staff arrival and review of the day, early drop off participants arrive 8:45am-9am - Check-in
9am – 9:15am – Lineup w/ groups and reviewing daily schedule w/ participants 9:15am – Noon - Early activities
Noon – 12:45/1pm - Lunch (lunch is not provided)
1pm – 2:45pm - Late activities/wind down activities
2:45 – 3:15pm - Check-out
No program 6/19 or 7/4

Parents/guardians should arrive at the EMS bus loop at the scheduled time. Early drop off (for those that have registered) - 8am – 8:30am Drop off – 8:45am ends at 9:00am.
Participants should be ready to check-in with any necessary items. Upon arrival, parents/guardians should head into Easton Middle school for check in.
A staff member will greet the camper at the designated drop-off area in EMS and check them in for the day. The staff member will verify the camper’s identity and confirm any important information such as allergies or medical conditions.
After check-in, campers will be directed to their assigned group and the day’s activities will begin.
At drop-off, parents can provide information to program staff about changes to pick-up information This must also be provided in written form to be submitted to the program director
PICK-UP
Parents/guardians should arrive at Easton Middle School at the scheduled times. Pick up – 2:45pm, ends at 3:00pm.
Upon arrival of the person picking their child up in the main entryway at EMS, a staff member will locate the camper and ensure that they are prepared to leave for the day. The staff member will confirm the identity of the parent/guardian picking up the camper and check that they are authorized to do so. Program staff may ask for government issued ID to ensure participant safety
If someone other than the parent/guardian is picking up the participant, they must be preapproved and listed on the camper’s authorized pick-up list Our staff will NOT release participants to someone not on your provided pick-up list
If a participant must be picked up early or dropped off late parents/guardians should notify the camp in advance to make appropriate arrangements.
If a participant will not be attending camp on a particular day, parents/guardians should notify the camp as soon as possible.
Any early drop offs or late pickups will be subject to additional fees. Fees will be based on required staff hourly rates.

· Bullying, biting, hitting, or other physical harm are not tolerated.
SICK POLICIES, MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION
If your child is sick, please refrain from dropping them off at camp, and communicate with the Director and Assistant Director what illness you believe your child has so we can report as needed to the Board of Health.

o In your email about your child’s illness, please indicate how many days you anticipate being absent from our program.
· If a child becomes sick at our program, they can be placed in the nurse’s office with a member of the program staff until a parent/guardian/designated pickup person can arrive at Easton Middle School.
· Prescriptions or medications listed on a child’s registration form must be indicated if camp staff is permitted to administer on behalf of parents/participants. This includes but is not limited to ep-pens, inhalers, or other prescription medication. Children are allowed to self-administer if permitted by parents.
FAQ’S
Are there restrooms onsite?
-Restrooms will be located inside of Easton Middle School. Adjacent to gymnasium and lunchroom. Where is the best place to park for pick-up/drop-off?
-We will coordinate with parents in the main bus loop of Easton Middle School. Parents are encouraged to form a line in the loop and present their name tag on their dash so we can communicate via radio with our staff. What if I need to change my designated pickup person in a given day?
-This can be done by having the head of household on Rec Desk emailing our team. We ask that one day notice be given. Our staff will not release a child until a member from that list is present. What if my child has to miss a session due to illness or travel?
-If you have to miss a session, please communicate this with coaches so they can adapt our checkin. Please contact our staff if you are running late as well!
