Winter programs - 2024-25 Helpful information Accommodations: If you or your family have questions about inclusion or would like to request a program accommodation, please email Programs@Easton.MA.US. We will do our best to modify aspects of our programs to provide accessible activities.

Waivers: Waivers are required for all town programming. For youth programs, guardians will need to sign forms on the participants' behalf.

Drop-in programs: No need to register, just arrive at the time the event is taking place and enjoy!

Maximum/minimum participants: Due to program structure, some of our activities will require upper and lower participation limits.

Programs that do not meet lower limits may be canceled, refunded, and rescheduled.

Refunds: Programs cancelled or with unanticipated changes in schedule will receive a full refund. Requests outside of 2 weeks will receive a full refund Requests within 2 weeks of a program will not receive a refund.

Punch cards (Fitness and Art) and swim memberships are non-refundable.

All other refund requests are at the discretion of the Community Programs office We will not refund credit card convenience fees. All refunds will be done via check unless otherwise stated.

Programs requiring Punchcards: Punchcards can be purchased online, with the QR Code below, or at Frothingham Hall during regular business hours. Passes can be picked up prior to your first class at the front desk at Frothingham Hall. Programs with pre-registration are not eligible for punch card use. See pricing below!

Winter Programs - 2024 Schools out program!

What to expect: The Town of Easton will be putting on a “Schools Out Winter Break Program!”

This program is designed to offer a safe, fun, and engaging environment for all children that provides parents with a reliable option for care during EPS Winter Break. So save your vacation time and let us handle winter break!

When: December 23rd, 26th, 27th, 28th, 30th, and 31th from 9am - 3pm Where: Blanche Ames Elementary, 50 Spooner St. North Easton, MA Who: Grades from K- 6th. Counselor in Training for 7 & 8th How much?: Week 1 (12/23-12/27): $120.

Week 2 (12/30 & 12/31): $80.

Both weeks - $160. Counselors in training $55 for both weeks.

Early care (8am-9am) $15/day.

Registration: We also ask that families make our office aware of any pertinent information for their child related to allergies, medications, or other details our team should be aware of.

Winter Programs - 2024-25 Adult Sports Programs: Pickleball Lessons.......................+18yrs old..............................$85 Varying levels of instruction covering the rules and basics of Pickleball. 3wk program run monthly, January through March. Wednesday evenings. Private/Group lessons are also available upon request. All lessons will take place inside at Frothingham Hall. 15 Barrows St, N Easton at various times. Registration starts 11/19. Registration is for the program in the following month. Min of 3 per group, max of 4 per group. Waitlists are available for each session.

Women’s Field Hockey League.......+18yrs old........................$35 Easton's Adult Women’s Field Hockey registration. These games will be social and competitive in nature. No practices, just play. Participants will play against other individuals of all skill levels. There will be no goalies. Play will take place on Sunday nights between 11/3 - 12/15 at 7:30pm, @ OA turf. Weekly RSVP for headcounts.

Co-ed Pickup Futsal......................+15yrs old............................$65 Join us for pickup soccer games this fall! No past experience is required. Teams will be broken up on-site. Site coordinator facilitates reasonable rotations to ensure playing time for all participants. Games played @ Oliver Ames Old Gym, 101 Lothrop St, N. Easton. Weekly RSVP for headcounts.

Every Friday night from 7-9pm. December 6 - February 28 Min of 20, max of 40 players.

Men's +30 Basketball....................+30yrs old.........................$170 Competitive indoor league with other Easton residents. This league will consist of tryouts, a preseason draft, and standard league play with patched basketball officials.

Standings, stats, and awards will be kept and included in this league. Teams play on Sunday nights between 6-9pm. January 5 - May 18. Maximum of 100 participants with preseason draft.

Winter programs - 2024-25 Adult Sports Programs: Adult Co-ed Volleyball........................+18yrs old......................$100 Competitive league with other Easton residents and patched volleyball officials.

Participants can enter full teams or register as individuals and be placed on teams.

Every Thursday night from 7:30-9:30pm at Oliver Ames Nixon Gym. January 9 - May 1.

Winter programs - 2024-25 Youth Sports Programs: Floor Hockey..................4-6yrs old & 7-9yr old leagues.............$90 Fun and team-oriented Floor Hockey league. Weekly games and all equipment provided.

6wks in length, from January to March.

Registration from 11/26- 12/19 Max-40 Min-24. Price is per session, winter registration will open after the holidays. Location will be announced at a later date.

InclYOUsion Sports for Kids..................2-7yrs old...................$225 InclYOUsion Sports provides inclusive sports enrichment programs to children in Massachusetts, using innovative behavioral methods to teach sports, fitness and social skills. The Program will run one sport per month (Floor Hockey & Basketball) Sunday's s 1/5/25–3/2/24 (skip day 2/16) 2-4 years old - 9am-9:50am @ Frothingham Hall 2-4 years old - 10am-1050am @ Frothingham Hall 5-7 years old - 11am-11:50am @ Frothingham Hall Maximum of 8 children per age group per session Costs for one 8 week program: Registration opens 11/25, and closes 1/2.

Winter programs - 2024-25 Youth Sports Programs: Kids Fit Class......................3-5 Grades........................................$40 Welcome to our 3rd, 4th & 5th grade Fit Kids Class! This program gives your kids the chance to use physical fitness to learn coordination, build strength and gain confidence.

This program is perfect mix of structured exercises and playful movement, helping kids enjoy fitness outside of the traditional sports scene.

Thursdays, January 9th - February 13th (no class 1/23) 4:15-5:00pm at Frothingham Hall - 15 Barrows Street. Min/Max of 10/25.

Kids Volleyball-Clinic & Friendly League.............1st-5th grades............$55 Athletes will learn the basics of volleyball including essential warmups, bumping, setting, and hitting. The first 3 weeks will be a mix of clinics focused on skill development, with the remainder of lessons focusing on open play. Activities and equipment will be modified for younger ages.

5 week program. Mondays, from January 27th - March 3rd. At Frothingham Hall.

Min/Max of 5/10 per group.

1st-3rd graders - 5:15pm-6pm 4-5th graders - 6:15pm-7pm.

Winter programs - 2024-25 Fitness programs - Flexibility & Mobility Drum Fit For Kids!..................3-5yrs old..................................$30 Join us for this 3 week movement and rhythm based fitness class for children. Kids will get their energy out during this easy and fun exercise class while making music and memories. Running 1/25/25 - 2/8/25 at Frothingham Hall. Registration is now open until December 10th Min/Max 5/10.

Chair Yoga ..........................+18yrs old..........Drop-in+Punch card A seated yoga session that's friendly for all ages and abilities. This is a great introduction to building skills and knowledge for life long yoga practice!

Mondays 10:30am-11:30am, Wednesdays 10-10:45am @ Frothingham Hall w/ Dorene. Beginner level, no experience needed. Mats provided. No registration needed!

Yin Yoga ..............................+18yrs old..........Drop-in+Punch card This type of yoga class is geared towards all skill levels. You will work with the areas closest to the bones to provide more flexibility in the knees, hips and shoulders. Learn all the poses and techniques in this class!

Wednesdays 11am-12pm@ Frothingham Hall w/ Dorene Beginner level, no experience needed. All equipment provided. No registration needed!

Winter programs - 2024-25 Fitness programs - Movement & Energy Georgi’s Bootcamp ....................+18yrs old.................................$45 This boot camp will kick-start your fitness routine and challenge you in new ways. All levels welcome but don't expect leisure! Light weights & resistance bands will be provided for this cardio, strength and resistance training, however, you can bring your own hand weights too. This runs for six consecutive Tuesdays, from 11/5-12/10 6:00pm - 7:00pm @ Frothingham Hall. Registration is open! Min/Max of 10 & 25.

Zumba Gold ..........................+18yrs old..........Drop-in+Punch card A rhythm and movement-based class designed to get your heart pumping!

Tuesdays 12:30pm-1:20pm @ Frothingham Hall w/ Marlene Intermediate level. All equipment provided. No registration needed!

Movin & Groovin' Fitness........+18yrs old........Drop-in+Punch card Join us for a movement-based cardio program that incorporates weights, dynamic movements, strength, and flexibility! A new way to get fit at Frothingham!

Tuesdays 2pm - 2:50pm @ Frothingham Hall w/ Georgi Beginners welcome. All equipment provided. No registration needed!

Winter programs - 2024-25 Fitness programs - Movement & Energy Core and Balance Yoga ...........+18yrs old........Drop-in+Punch card This beginner yoga class is designed to strength core muscles, enhance balance, and bring a sense of lightness to both mind and body. This hybrid class offers seated or floor options, so you can choose the position that feels best for you. Each session includes medication, mindful movement, and poses to promote overall wellness and stability Thursdays, 9:30am - 10:30am @ Frothingham Hall with Judith. All equipment is provided. No registration needed!

Core Rhythm........................ +18yrs old...........Drop-in+Punch card Get your heart pumping and energy flowing with this upbeat, intermediate-level fitness class. You will do rhythmic movements and core-focused routines that will help with your coordination. Thursdays at Frothingham Hall from 12:30pm - 1:30pm with Marlene. All equipment is provided. No registration needed!

Tai Chi ..................................+18yrs old...........Drop-in+Punch card Take part in this gentle Tai Chi session to start your week. This class is a great way to build balance and learn the dynamic poses of Tai Chi. Mondays 9am-10am @ Frothingham Hall w/ Vince. Beginner level, no experience needed. No registration needed!

This is great for all skill and strength levels. The program takes place on Wednesdays at 9am - 9:45am w/ Marlene L at Frothingham Hall. Beginner level.

Balance & Strength ...............+18yrs old..........Drop-in+Punch card Join us in workouts that target key muscle groups that help with functional strength, balance, and flexibility.

Forever Young & Fit..............+18yrs old..........Drop-in+Punch card A fun and dynamic workout class that helps preserve strength and mobility. Great for seniors looking to step up their fitness journey. Wednesdays 12:30pm-1:30pm @ Frothingham Hall w/ Deb B. Intermediate level involving dynamic movements.

This 5 week session will run from 1/8/25-2/5/25 from 5:30-6:30 at Frothingham Hall. Min/max 8/12. Registration will open soon!

Dementia Care Support Group......+18yrs old......Drop in +FREE! This group is for anyone caring for a loved one who has been diagnosed with a form of dementia. It will caregivers a space to talk with others walking through similar situations. Takes Place on the first and third Friday at 12:00pm @ Frothingham Hall

Grief Group.........................+18yrs old.................Drop in + FREE A community support group for those who have lost a loved one. Hosted by an experienced grief counselor. This activitity takes Place on the 2nd Thursday and 4th Friday at 11am-Noon @ Frothingham Hall.

Healthy Eating Group..........+18yrs old................Drop in + FREE Join this support group for residents on their own journey to healthy eating. This is a great social activity for members of all ages. Enjoy group discussion, recipe sharing, and themed luncheons! Fridays 10am-11am @ Frothingham Hall w/ Joan. No registration needed! Monthly fee to be discussed with the instructor

Weaving, knitting, & crafts............+18yrs old....Drop in and FREE! Join this group and learn different styles of stitching, weaving, and hard crafts. Our instructor Jean will teach, or come and craft alongside folks with similar interests!

Winter programs - 2024-25 Single-day events & Workshops Lets Paint! Kids Paint Party.................K-5th...............................$25 oin us for this exciting paint party! Kids will foster their creativity with this guided paint program! All paint, brushes, canvas is included in the registration. A great new drop-off program for friends and siblings! Ages: 5-12yrs. Fee: $25 (all supplies included) Schedule: 3/19, 6:30pm-7:30pm @ Frothingham Hall. Min/Max: 10/20.

Baby Sitting course........................12-16yrs old..........................$50 Join First Line CPR & Safety Training for a certification course teaching you the basics of Baby Sitting. This training date will be announced soon, and will be held at Frothingham hall. Signups can be completed through the American Red Cross website as of 3/8. First Line Safety will issue all certificates

Noon Years Eve................................+50yrs..................................$5 Stop by Frothingham Hall on 12/31 from 10:30 to 12:30 and countdown to Noon! This early New Years eve party for seniors will feature music, refreshments, and games.

Come ring in the ‘Noon’ Year with your friends!

Winter programs - 2024-25 Single-day events & Workshops OCES: Bringing Health to You..........+50yrs............................FREE This program offers five relevant topics. This fun, innovative program empowers you to take key steps to improve your well-being, add another chapter to your life and strengthen ties to your community and OCES. December 3rd from 9:00-11:30am.

All programs are taking place at Frothingham Hall, 15 Barrows St. Easton Ma. Call to sign up for these programs!

Trip to Patriots Lighthouse.................+50yrs................................$5 Join us for a fun-filled trip to Gillette’s Stadium Lighthouse! This is an iconic experiential feature which was added to the stadium. The trip will be $5 to cover the transportation, and you will need to bring an additional $5 to purchase a ticket on site (they do not accept payments ahead of time). Afterwards, you will be able to enjoy the rest of the time shopping, sightseeing, and dining at Patriots Place. Please bring additional funds if you plan to engage in shopping, sightseeing, etc.

The trip is scheduled for Thursday, December 5th, time to be determined. Call Frothingham Hall at (508) 230-0690 to put your name on the list!

Easton’s Egg Hunt Come out and search for some eggs as we celebrate the start of Spring! An Easton tradition for our youngest residents. Best for ages 2-8yrs old. $5 per child.
