OPTOMETRY
The first week of August witnessed the hard work and dedication of our team as they successfully completed the Protocol Update program at the Poptún and Sayaxché Vision Centers. Thanks to the synergy between our Vision Center Managers, the Maintenance team, and our valued optometrists, we were able to optimize our equipment and processes, thus strengthening our ability to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Our collaboration with the International Esperanza Project (IEP) in their Surgical Day was a clear example of our social commitment. By participating in patient check-ups, our vision professionals contributed significantly to improving the quality of life of many people.
En un esfuerzo por impulsar la innovación en el campo de la oftalmología, We
have launched the Telemedicine Pilot Plan in three of our Vision Centers. This initiative, aligned with the guidelines of our Medical Directorate, represents a unique opportunity for our optometrists to develop new skills and expand their knowledge.
DAYS PEDIATRIC
In Santa Lucía Milpas Altas, the day became a true celebration. With the participation of 437 children, the activity exceeded all expectations. In addition to the visual assessments, an informative talk was given on the importance of taking care of one’s vision.
To make this experience unforgettable, we organized a special activity with the presence of a friendly Minion. The animated character was in charge of bringing joy to the children and reinforcing the message about eye health. As an incentive, cookies, sweets and medals were given to the “vision captains.”
At the MOJOCA facilities, 48 children and their parents were evaluated and received medical attention. The day was full of surprises and fun activities, such as the popular happy meals and prizes, which served to make the experience more enjoyable and encourage healthy habits.
