NEW VISION CENTER

INAUGURATION OF TECPÁN

A new step toward the vision of a country without preventable blindness

At Visualiza, we believe that each inauguration is much more than the opening of a physical space; it’s the opening of new opportunities to see and live fully. This month, we are proudly celebrating the opening of our 15th Vision Center, located in Tecpán, a project made possible thanks to the valuable support of Asociación Esperanza.

This new center represents a renewed commitment to our mission: to bring eye health to every corner of Guatemala and contribute to eradicating preventable blindness. We know that sight is a priceless treasure, and that’s why we work every day to bring ophthalmological diagnoses, treatments, and solutions to those who need them most.

The Tecpán community now has a specialized, close, and accessible space where everyone can receive quality care, with the warmth that characterizes our team. We are thrilled to know that more families will have the opportunity to care for their vision and enjoy a full life. This achievement would not be possible without our joint efforts, and it inspires

us to continue growing, convinced that each center we open is another step toward building a country where eye health is a right within everyone’s reach.

At Visualiza, we continue to move forward with our eyes set on a brighter future for Guatemala.

INNOVATION IN VISUAL HEALTH

Ortho-K lenses, now available at Visualiza

At Visualiza, we continue to innovate to offer our patients the best vision care solutions. Therefore, during the month of July, we announced the addition of a new option to our portfolio: Ortho-K lenses, available at our Private Hospital.

Ortho-K (or orthokeratology) lenses are special contact lenses worn overnight while the person sleeps. Their function is to gently reshape the cornea to temporarily correct vision, allowing clear vision during the day without the need for glasses or lenses.

This treatment is ideal for people with mild to moderate myopia and has become a safe and effective alternative, especially for children and young people, as it helps control the progression of myopia. It is also a comfortable option for those who desire independence from glasses during their daily activities. With this new technology, we reaffirm our commitment to providing modern

and accessible solutions tailored to the needs of each patient. At Visualiza, we constantly work to ensure everyone has the opportunity to enjoy clearer vision and a better quality of life.
