PLACEMENT OF THE FIRST STONE
“A new dawn for visual health in Quiché”
In July, we marked a milestone in our history by laying the first stone of our new Visualiza Ophthalmological Hospital in Quiché. This project, the result of years of effort and dedication, represents a fundamental step in our mission to eradicate preventable blindness in Guatemala.
With the construction of this modern hospital, thousands of Guatemalans in Quiché and its surroundings will have access to quality ophthalmological services. From prevention and early diagnosis to specialized treatments, our team of professionals will work tirelessly to improve the quality of life of those who need it most.
This shared dream becomes a reality thanks to the commitment of our company and the support of the community. Together, we are building a brighter future, where preventable blindness is just a memory.
OPTOMETRY

Critical thinking.
Effective communication.
By investing in the training of our optometrists, we are ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care. Benefits include:

We congratulate our residents and encourage them to actively participate, highlighting discipline, perseverance, and being promoters of the values of Visualiza in their daily practice.
We thank Universidad Mesoamericana for the endorsement and support of the training programs, who through education contribute significantly to the eradication of preventable blindness at the national level.

DAYS PEDIATRIC
Looking to the Future, Bringing the Vision to Schools
In a day full of color and learning, the “Looking to the Future” program carried out a series of activities in various schools, with the aim of preventing childhood blindness and promoting visual health.
A total of 18 teachers were trained in the early detection of visual acuity problems, acquiring fundamental tools to identify children who require specialized attention. Thanks to this training, the eyes of more than 800 students were evaluated, providing them with a first assessment and detecting possible cases that require medical follow-up.
To make this experience unforgettable, vision heroes Luminis and Aros visited the schools, bringing joy and key messages about the importance of taking care of your eyes. The children enjoyed fun activities, received prizes and medals, and tasted delicious snacks, such as pizza, soda, and themed cakes shaped like an eye and the Visualiza logo.
These days not only benefited the students, but also their families and the entire educational community. By raising awareness about visual health from an early age, you help build a brighter future for everyone.
