A true friend to Chai Lifeline’s families and a dedicated supporter of the organization, he will always be remembered with love and appreciation.
To the memory of our dear friend,

His dedication to Chai Lifeline and Camp Simcha and his love for our children continue to inspire us every day.

An evening benefiting children and families impacted by illness and crisis
12.2.25 • Pier 60, NYC
At Chai Lifeline, we see the world through the eyes of the children and families we serve — eyes that reflect courage, faith, and resilience in the face of life’s greatest challenges.
As an international support network, Chai Lifeline provides social, emotional, and practical assistance to families and communities confronting pediatric illness, crisis, and loss.
This year’s theme, Through Their Eyes, reminds us to look beyond illness and see the strength, love, and hope that guide every child’s journey. It’s a call to truly see others, to recognize their struggles, honor their courage, and walk beside them with compassion and care.
Together, we bring vision, comfort, and support to those who need it most.

Fueling the expansion and innovation of Chai Lifeline’s services

It has been thirty years since the passing of our dear Husband, Father and Zeidy,
His daily impact on our lives is apparent to all who knew him. His personal sacrifice has brought so many so much and his life is an inspiration to all who knew him. We miss him beyond description.
As his own childhood was marred by the years of the shoah, the joy of other children became his priority. It is our privilege to join with Chai Lifeline to continue his legacy.
Through the LOUIS WERTENTEIL z’'l Heart To Heart Program, we have attempted to expand his impact to those who did not have the satisfaction of knowing him.
This program strives to enrich the lives of children; not only the children with life-threatening illnesses, but also the Big Brothers and Big Sisters who befriend them.
A few hours at a time, Chai Lifeline enables kids to be kids again.
The smiles of the children of Chai Lifeline, are a nechama to us, who remember and yearn for the smile of our Husband, Father and Zeidy

You have become true role models on center stage.
Year after year, you bring honor to Chai Lifeline - a pillar of our community’s organizations.
This year, though, you have truly outdone yourselves. What better way to showcase your amazing dedication to chesed than by hosting this event just days before your daughter’s wedding? This is the ultimate chinuch with which to start a young couple on their journey.
May you be zocheh to receive all the brachos and to see endless nachas from your children.

Mr. & Mrs. Tropper opened their home with warmth, generosity, and without hesitation — welcoming their dear son Aron’s “wild friends” with open arms and open hearts.

The entire community will long remember Mr. Tropper’s legacy — a legacy now carried forward by his family and further strengthened through the establishment of The Martin Tropper Z”L Legacy Project.

THE TRAGEDY COULD NOT BE PREVENTED IT NEED NOT LEAD TO A CATASTROPHE
Almost weekly we learn of a tragedy in which a relatively young person dies.
Do you ever think of what happens to their dependents?
How will they have the money to sustain themselves in the future?
How will the myriad of bills that every family incurs be paid?
How, indeed, unless the deceased had sufficient life insurance!
Every husband and wife (each), or person with dependents should have a minimum of $1,000,000 worth of term life insurance. The cost is surprisingly low anywhere in the world.

When someone needs a smile, we know who to call.
When the best medicine is a seat at the hottest game in town, you come through every time.
We are grateful for the tickets, the celebrity visits, the meetings with athletes, the swag (let’s not forget the souvenirs!), and for the grace with which you offer that and more every day.
May you continue to bring fun, awe, and pure enjoyment to children sorely in need of all three.
