Writing the City is a project that connected secondary school students with writers and national cultural institutions to create a series of writing about the city, a celebrations of its people, histories and stories.
The project ran in Synge Street CBS Secondary School, St. Patrick’s Cathedral Grammar School and Presentation Secondary School in 2016/2017 as part of The National Neighbourhood. A partnership between Dublin City Council Culture Company (formerly Dublin’s Culture Connects), The National Archives, The National Gallery, Dublin City Libraries, Dublin City Arts Office and the Community Development Office, Dublin City Council - and was led by Bernadette Larkin and Enda Wyley
