It Takes a Village… Put Yourself in the Picture is a project investigating the public spaces of Coolock using a combination of drawing, photography, writing, walks and talks to create a collaborative collection of artworks.
The project ran in Coolock, and covered other local neighbourhoods in 2016/2017 as part of The National Neighbourhood. A partnership between Dublin City Council Culture Company (formerly Dublin’s Culture Connects), IMMA (The Irish Museum of Modern Art), Coolock Library, Dublin City Arts Office and the North Central Area Office - and was led by Dolly Duffy, George Finglas, Terry O’Brien, Geraldine Gilsenan, Gay Traynor and Shabina Valentine.
