Experience a full body workout and develop core strength, flexibility, body toning, balance, and a mind/ body connection. Classes are appropriate for seniors and modifications will be given as needed. Students will need to bring their own mats. Other equipment will be provided.

Sit ‘N Fit brings easy chair exercises for seniors to strengthen both their body and mind. This FREE program is offered every Monday and Wednesday. Come on down to the Maxwell Adult Center to get a good 45-minute chair workout! It will be led by a Maxwell staff member to offer a more personal instruction

Chair Volleyball

Chair Volleyball is a fun physical activity that you can do while sitting in a chair. It’s not only a fun way to stay active, but also a great opportunity for everyone to come together and have a blast. You don’t have to worry about any physical limitations because the game is played while seated, ensuring that everyone can join in on the fun. Join us every Thursday for chair volleyball!

Chair Chi

Chair Chi is a gentle exercise program developed by Pat Griffith to help people receive the benefits of traditional Tai Chi Chuang in the comfort and safety of their chair. This allows people who cannot stand, or do not feel confident with their balance, to participate. With our certified Chair Chi instructor(s), classes will be held weekly.
