Volunteer Days

The third Thursday of the months of January through May are fun days of volunteer work as we partner with different organizations like Houston Food Bank, Bread of Life, Ronald McDonald House, etc. Program times may vary, please look out for the Maxwell Adult Chatter for times each month.

Kings Bingo Hall

King’s Bingo, where players can win up to $2,500 per session, while supporting your community. You will have the option to pay for either one session for $7 per person, or two sessions for $14 per person. Each session includes 12 paper cards and a free King’s Bingo dauber. Concession stands are available for food or free water. We will be departing from Jimmy Burke Activity Center at 11:15 AM, please arrive 15 minutes early for check-in.

Thrifty Thursday

Let’s find a bargain on a fun day of thrifting every second Thursday of the month! We will be going to a thrift store in the Houston area, followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Price of lunch is not included, and locations are to be determined a month before. Locations will be posted in our monthly Maxwell Chatter.
