EASTER EGG-STRAVAGANZA

Egg hunt at 10:30am SHARP

Dow Park | Ages 6 mos - 11 years

Come early and enjoy carrot pull, sidewalk chalk, pony rides, petting zoo, wagon rides, rubber ducky races and bunny bingo. Stay late and enjoy the Art Park Players Reaction group with games, dancing and singing.

Pooch Hunt

Dog Park (500 W. 13th Street) at 2pm. Bring your dog on a leash to hunt eggs. No charge!

Vipar Program

DO YOU WANT TO VOLUNTEER? Appy to volunteer in Deer Park Parks and Recreation programs and events to gain valuable skills and experience that will help you suceed in your future endeavors. VIPAR’s will spend their time assisting in recreational programs such as Camp Crabgrass, Movies and Concerts in the Park, Art Programs and many more!

Requirements: Great attitude about volunteering!

Open to boys and girls ages 12 – 15 (as of June 1, 2022.)

Applications may be found online at www.deerparktx.gov/parksandrec on April 13 and are due Friday, May 13.

In-person registrations taken in the front office Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Refunds

There will be no refund given if the office is not notified of withdrawal at least 24 hours or 1 business day (whichever is greater) before the start of the program. This will be strictly enforced. Refunds can be requested in person, by phone or email to the Parks and Recreation Department office. Requests made in person or by phone should be submitted Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. This advanced notice is required for all programs, regardless of the number of days they are held.

Contract Program Refunds

To better serve our community, Deer Park Parks and Recreation Department (DPPARD) contracts out several programs. Due to advanced planning with the contracted instructors, it is at the discretion of the instructor to decide to issue a refund for said program. Only with approval from the instructor will the DPPARD issue the refund. In the event the Department cancels any program, a full refund will be promptly issued.
