What’s splashing goldfishies!
It’s your Lieutenant Governor Serena Zhang! I hope you’ve all had a great September! We had an amazing DCM in September where we created no sew tie blankets for veterans in hospitals! We had a great turnout at this event, so thank you so much if you came! Our next division event is going to be RTC (Region Training Conference) on October 26th!! It will also be our October DCM.
Also, I hope you can join us at Fall Rally South on November 9th at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
It’ll be one of the biggest Key Club events of the year––it’s not something you want to miss out on! You’ll have a day of cheering your heart out and riding as many rides as possible. Can’t wait to see you there!
Thank you for reading my letter goldfishies, see you soon!

What is in the current, goldfishes?
It is your Division News Editor Julianna Hsu! How has school been? In light of it being college app season, welcome to the first conjoined October + November issue! Things have been busy :( So many things have been going on guys. We had Fall Rally on November 9th at Six Flags Magic Mountain, RTC (Region Training Conference) on October 26th, and DCMs on DCMS. I loved making blankets with you guys and making little cards for the veterans to enjoy!
Hope you guys had fun at the Fall Rally!
Unfortunately I couldn’t go, but I heard tons of great comments from our LTG and officers that it was a blast! Hope all that attended had a fun time going on rides and representing our division!
Division 04 East had its September DCM on September 28th at Grijalva Park in Orange. It was a super fun event with a service project where we made no sew tie blankets and donated them to veterans in hospitals.
We had an amazing turnout at this event, and it was so great to see all of you socializing with each other while working on your blankets!
Thank you to all those who attended the DCM! I hope you can come to more!
This Halloween, our goldfishes decided to volunteer at Crescent Elementary’s Trunk or Treat We helped decorate trunks and pass out candy during the event while making sure to clean up afterward It was so much fun seeing everyone dressed up with spooky spirit! We appreciate all members who made sure everything ran smoothly and would be happy to return to Crescent soon!
Fall Rally 2024 was such a blast! Seeing everyone united, filled with Key Club spirit and hearing their unique chants made my first Fall Rally really special. When I went around the park l was able to see Six Flags filled with KeyClubbers who asked "How do you feel?" to other Key-Clubbers around the park. The Spirit Rally was our chance to see the output of the chants the Goldfishes practiced at the spirit sessions. Even though we were a small group we tried our hardest to chant as loud as we could Overall the Goldfishes did great at this Fall Rally and I could see the determination in all of us.

Volunteering at the San Antonio Fiesta was a blast! As this was our first service event we held for this school year, it was lots of fun! We coordinated with our local San Antonio church in order to set up this event for our members Our volunteers had the opportunity to volunteer at three different game booths

We had many volunteers and lots of people showed up to play at the games. It was a gratifying opportunity to help the community and help the church raise money. Overall, this event was a great experience, as it was both fun and helped our community a lot.
Our first general meeting of the year was a great start to our school year! Our board has been coordinating and planning for our general meeting during the preceding board meetings, and all of our work paid off! Overall, this school year has started off successful, with a successful club rush and new members joining. At this general meeting, we went over upcoming service events and we introduced our board again, as it is a new school year Our general meeting was fun and we had great attendance We hope that throughout the school year, this success continues on!

Lampson Literacy Night is always one of the volunteer events we look forward to each year! Orange High Key Club helped at Lamspon Elementary School at their literacy night. We helped run the book fair, hand out flyers, and help out the teachers in their classroom activities! It was a lot of fun for many of our members to return to their old school and meet their teachers again. At the end of the event, we were given free In n Out which tasted delicious! And we were even able to watch the sunset after the beautiful cleanup. We all had a lot of fun volunteering!
Orange High Key Club sold Ding Tea Boba for Club Rush! Although we weren't able to sell out as we hoped, we still made a good profit and were able to give away the boba to many staff and faculty members throughout the school We also got a lot of new members from Club Rush which is always amazing!
One of the really successful outside of school events Beckman Key Club participated in during the month of September was the Ante Up for Autism Gala. This annual event was hosted at the Balboa Bay Resort on September 21rst.
Members volunteered by helping unload auction items, setting up and cleaning the venue, and to monitor auction items to prevent stealing or any mishandling Our volunteers had an amazing time and got a formal opportunity to help our community 10 members were able to achieve 4 hours of service for helping with the event, and we plan to participate again next year!

The first full month back from summer was an immense success for Beckman Key Club We held our first board meeting, participated in club rush, and also held numerous events in and out of school. For one, our club held our first board meeting of the 2024 school year. During the meeting we planned future events, strategize for club rush at our school, and recapped the month of August.
Club rush was a clear success as we gained tons of new members for our club. Using bright posters, social media, and a booth we were able to reach out to various new underclassmen and invite them to join our club Throughout the month of August we also participated in an array of events including: the Block Party, Ante up for Autism event, and OCC Book Fair
Just two weeks after club rush, Foothill Key Club had their first general meeting! It was so refreshing to see all of the new and returning members attend our first ever meeting of the 2425 term. While board members presented upcoming service and social events, members were able to enjoy snacks. The meeting had such a great turn out. Foothill Key Club has high hopes for this year!
