ly like this all over the world. I am already afraid of getting a reversal cultural shock when I arrive back home to be honest. Cultural differences, a beautiful skyline and a lot of water Canada got me now, with all my heart! The people, the university and the cities are simply amazing. Our next adventure starts just around the corner, downtown Toronto. The first impression is simple amazement. Toronto seems like a city with so many different facets. There is a huge financial district with massive skyscrapers and impressive modern glass facades, as well as the CN tower with its 553 meters height. Also there are huge shopping centres as well as massive food markets, where you can find anything you can imagine from local farmers as well as from all over the world. On the other side you find nice little food markets, amazing street artists, small outrageous shops, delicious coffee shops and an unbelievable diversity of cultures from all over the world. China town is only one example reflecting

the great diversity of this city. Another great opportunity to get another view from the city we discovered, are the patio rooftop bar all around the city. Especially during summer there are a lot of Festivals and Events happening in Toronto nearly everyday. We get the pleasure to take part in one of the most famous festivals, the TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival), which is celebrating its 40th birthday this year. On the main streets of this awesome city you will not get bored at all, there is always something going on. Another highlight of the city are the islands just beside it. Arriving there you don’t feel like being in a city anymore. There are boats everywhere on Lake Ontario, you can go to the beach and relax or simply find yourself in one of the nice bars, having a drink with the most amazing few of the skyline of Toronto. At the latest, when you are sitting on a bench in the park on the islands, while looking at the lights of the skyline of Toronto at night you will fall in love with this city. We definitely did! One thing you can’t miss, if you are in Canada is a visit to the Niagara Falls,

which is located only a around 2 hours by bus from Toronto, just next to the border to the US. Arriving at Niagara Falls, while heading to the water with the bus I am looking out of the window and I am simply impressed. “WOW!” is all you hear all over the bus. Everybody always talks about the massive waterfalls and the power behind this natural spectacle but now, as I am actually staying in front of it, it makes me even speechless. Also the downtown of Niagara Falls is packed with attractions, which is why locals sometimes call it the “Little Las Vegas”. This area is definitely worth a visit! A short visit to France, the big Apple and a shocking fact The next trip on our adventure brings us to Montreal. We immediately feel there is a difference between Toronto and Montreal and it seem like the people are not as open anymore. It feels a bit like Europe, somehow like being in France. However, it’s a nice little city with a lot of small little cafes, a beautiful old town and an impressive Harbour. To sum it up, Montreal has a lot to
